About Asheville Encore
Our History
Asheville Encore has been in the antique business for over 40 years. We started as a small family-owned shop in historic Biltmore Village In the 80’s. I currently sell items through private sales. We are seeking booth space to liquidate three storage buildings worth of stuff! Our vast eclectic knowledge of vintage items sets us apart from the rest.
We also up-cycle everyday items and turn them into one of a kind lamps. All lamps are hand crafted using vintage style silk-covered wire and vintage style sockets and plugs. See below for more info.
Our Specialization
We specialize in European and American antique furniture from the 18th to the early 20th century. Our collection includes pieces of Americana, Primitive Folk pieces, and English pieces. We also have a large selection of American and English antique silver, Sterling, porcelain, and glassware.
Our Conservation and Up-Cycling
At Asheville Encore, we believe in preserving the beauty and authenticity of antique pieces. In addition to bringing pieces back to life, our resident lamp maker, Roney Hilliard is a 3rd generation “Ashevillian” with extensive knowledge of fine antiques and collectibles.
